CLAIRE & BEN WOODS
Pangbourne

THE PROBLEM – Mr and Mrs Woods lived and owned a Victorian property in Pangbourne. They were moving to London and wanted to keep their property in Pangbourne so that they could rent it out. They knew that they needed a valid EICR otherwise they would be liable for a fine of up to £50,000.

THE SOLUTION – Mr and Mrs Woods asked Forbury Electrical to inspect the property in Pangbourne and to advise them what needed to be done for the electricals to be brought up to spec.

Forbury Electrical visited the property and performed a meticulous EICR, which included checking; any damage to electrical installations, adequate earthing and bonding, compliance with current wiring regulations and any risks of electric shock or fire.

THE RESULTS

One – A fully comprehensive EICR was completed and detailed report provided to Mr and Mrs Woods

Two – Any essential remedial work (C2)was undertaken on the day so that not delays were made to tenants moving in.

Three – A plan was drawn up to address any additional improvements (C3)

Four – Mr and Mrs Woods were able to keep to schedule with their moving plans and have total peace of mind that their paperwork was up to date.
